The toolbox contains the frequently used tools for creating Adobe Illustrator documents. It also has several hidden tools that are related to the tool shown. The presence of these tools is indicatied by arrows to the right of the tool, and they can be selected by positioning the pointer over the triangle and pressing the mouse button until the hidden tools appear.

Note: You can also tear off the hidden toolbar from the toolbox in order to display all of the options in the work area.
