Through reading, discussion, in-class activities and assignments, this course will help you to think more critically about the world around you. More specifically, this course will help you to:
· Explore and understand various perspectives on
human-environment interrelationships
· Gain insight into the ways in which the environment influences our
experiences
· Understand the ways that we exert influence on the environment
· Gain first-hand knowledge about key issues through hands-on activities
· Develop a foundation for how to design more effective and appropriate
environments that address human needs
